ESD Safe Super Erecta 2-Shelf Utility Cart in Stainless Steel for FOUP and SMIF Transport
The Metro ESD Safe ESDMW-1842NS-2 Utility Cart provides a safe, durable means of transporting static-sensitive materials, tools, and components in electronics manufacturing facilities, cleanrooms, and other controlled environments. Built on the same modular Super Erecta platform as Metro wire shelving, this wire utility cart combines mobility, strength, and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection to provide unmatched performance.
Each cart features open-wire stainless steel shelves that promote airflow and minimize particulate buildup, supporting clean and controlled workspaces. Conductivity is achieved through its stainless steel construction, 9985-ESD conductive split sleeves, and a grounding system that includes a drag chain, two conductive brake casters, and two conductive swivel casters. Together, these components maintain full grounding during transport for consistent static control and optimal ESD protection.
Stainless steel ESD Safe Utility Carts are designed for FOUP and SMIF transport in semiconductor fabrication and wafer-handling applications where increased corrosion resistance and cleanroom compatibility are top concerns. The stainless design withstands frequent cleaning, harsh environments, and chemical exposure while maintaining full ESD protection.
The cart features ergonomic one-piece handles on both sides for easy maneuverability. Adjustable shelf heights in 1-inch increments allow users to configure carts for a wide range of transport tasks. 4″ high stainless steel ledges help secure products during movement, reducing the risk of shifting or damage in transit.

- European Union: up to 5 business days
- Non-EU countries (Serbia, Macedonia): delivery is arranged on EXW (Ex Works) terms. Goods are made available at our facility in Romania, and the buyer organizes transport and customs clearance. We prepare all export documentation. Typical road transit time to Belgrade or Skopje is 1 to 4 business days once collected, though the buyer's chosen carrier determines the final schedule.
