The ESD Nexxit is completely safe and suitable for any task in ESD areas, ensuring electrostatic charges are reliably discharged, conductive according to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a typical discharge resistance of 10⁶ Ohm. Manufactured by Bimos, a brand of Interstuhl Büromöbel GmbH & Co.KG, the ESD Nexxit chair is also reliable when it comes to ergonomic working, adjusting quickly and intuitively, and remains incredibly flexible thanks to its practical, functional handles.

Where the ESD Nexxit Chair Fits

The ESD Nexxit chair is an all-rounder for assembly, production or workshop environments where operators need reliable ESD protection combined with fast, intuitive adjustment. With three frame configurations covering two seat height ranges, the ESD Nexxit chair can be matched to low or high workstations without compromising ESD safety.

Synchronous Mechanism and Functional Handles

Every ESD Nexxit chair is equipped with a synchronous mechanism with automatic weight adjustment: the chair automatically adapts to the individual user’s body weight, with the seat and backrest following the body in all movements for optimum support. Stable, robust functional handles on the backrest, in black, are part of the standard equipment, making it easy to move the chair back and forth.

Seat Height and Frame Options

The ESD Nexxit chair is available in three frame configurations. The low version is fitted with either glides (9030E) or castors (9033E), both offering a seat height of 450-600 mm. The high version (9031E) is fitted with glides and a chrome-plated, height-adjustable foot ring, covering a seat height of 570-820 mm, and can also be ordered with self-locking Stop & Go castors instead of glides.

Upholstery Choices

The seat and backrest of the ESD Nexxit chair can be upholstered in Duotec ESD fabric, artificial leather Magic, Skintec ESD, or Supertec ESD, all in black. Duotec ESD is breathable and can absorb and release moisture, offering lasting comfort during long periods of sitting. Artificial leather Magic is PVC-free, quick and easy to clean, and resistant to oils and commercially available disinfectants. Skintec ESD combines a soft upholstery core with an easy-care surface resistant to disinfectants, tested and certified. Supertec ESD is made from hard-wearing, cut-resistant, non-slip micro-plating, staying breathable and comfortable during long shifts.

Armrests and Accessories

Armrests are not included in the base configuration of the ESD Nexxit chair and can be ordered separately as the ESD 4D armrest accessory, adjustable in height, width and depth, available for all three frame configurations. For the high-version frame, a foot ring is also available separately.

Build Quality and Warranty

The ESD Nexxit chair has a net weight of 17.5 kg on the low versions and 20.5 kg on the high version, with a black profiled steel pipe base. Every ESD Nexxit chair is backed by a 10-year warranty, with free shipping of replacement parts throughout the entire period.

Certifications and Standards

The ESD Nexxit chair complies with DIN EN 61340-5-1 for electrostatic discharge protection and DIN 68877 for castor and glide safety. It carries the GS certificate for tested safety, and is produced under DIN EN ISO 9001 quality management, DIN EN ISO 14001 environmental management, EMAS-tested environmental management and OHSAS 18001 occupational health and safety management.
