ESD Saddle Stool for Flexible, ESD Safe Seating at Elevated Workplaces

The ESD Saddle Stool is designed for workplaces where legroom is limited or where mobility is required. It is conductive according to DIN EN 61340-5-1, with a typical leakage resistance of 10 to the 6th Ohm, achieved through conductive coated steel parts, conductive comfort pads and volume conductive castors.

Saddle Seat for Active, Ergonomic Sitting

The comfortable saddle seat, with 3 zone cushion foam, promotes an ergonomic sitting posture that supports the natural S shape of the spine, for optimal pressure distribution and seating comfort. The stool includes 3D seat dynamics, which allow intuitive, active and dynamic sitting rather than a fixed position.

Upholstery Choices

Two materials are available: Duotec ESD fabric, breathable and suited to clean ESD environments, offered in black, blue or grey, and Magic ESD artificial leather, PVC free, quick to clean and resistant to commercially available disinfectants, offered in black.

Seat Height and Base

Seat height is steplessly adjustable from 540 to 800 mm using a gas spring with a protective cover, an extra wide range suited to elevated workplaces. The base is an extra small aluminium base, 540 mm in diameter, keeping the footprint compact while leaving legroom free, fitted with soft, load dependent braked double castors for hard floors.

The ESD Saddle Stool complies with EN 61340-5-1 for electrostatic discharge protection and DIN 68877.
