The Metro ESD Safe Super Erecta Wire Shelving Cart offers the strength and adjustability of the Super Erecta shelving platform with full electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection for controlled-environment storage and transport. Designed for use in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, semiconductor facilities, and cleanroom environments, Metro ESD mobile racks provide reliable conductive storage and transport for static-sensitive materials and equipment.
Each preconfigured unit features five wire shelves that maximize airflow and minimize dust and particulate buildup, helping maintain a cleaner workspace. Chrome-plated steel posts and 9985-ESD conductive split sleeves ensure consistent conductivity throughout the entire structure, ensuring reliable ESD protection for sensitive electronics and components. Two conductive swivel casters, two conductive brake casters, and a conductive drag chain maintain ground contact during transport.
Shelves adjust in 1-inch increments along the posts for flexible configuration as storage needs evolve. The open-wire design provides excellent visibility and quick access to stored components, helping streamline workflows in ESD-protected areas, cleanrooms, and controlled manufacturing spaces.

Sizes Available to Order

The cart is available to order, including custom configuration, in three sizes: ESD-2436NC-63-M-5 (914 x 610 x 1753 mm), ESD-2448NC-63-M-5 (1219 x 610 x 1753 mm) and ESD-2460NC-63-M-5 (1524 x 610 x 1753 mm). Select the size in the selector above.

Wheels, Weight and Materials

Every size stands on four 5 in (127 mm) non-marking wheels made of conductive thermoplastic polyurethane, with 5MPESD swivel casters, 5MPBESD brake casters and an ESD-DC12 drag chain. Approximate package weight is 35.9 kg for the 914 mm version, 42.3 kg for the 1219 mm version and 54.1 kg for the 1524 mm version. The load capacity is 900 lbs (408 kg). The cart is made of steel, with a chrome finish, in a silver color.

ESD Protection

Conductivity is maintained throughout the entire structure through chrome-plated steel and 9985-ESD polymer split sleeves, while the drag chain and the conductive casters keep the cart in ground contact during transport.
